BREASTFEEDING counsellors manned stalls in Saffron Walden town centre last week to promote Breastfeeding Awareness Week. Counsellors Annie White and Kate Chivers were on hand to answer questions.

They held a successful stall last Tuesday, where they handed out balloons and compact information packs on the subject.

National Childbirth Trust spokesman, Cara Donker, said: "The stall was fantastic in promoting Breastfeeding Awareness Week.

"Many shops displayed 'breastfeeding mums welcome' stickers."
