Dunmow man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crash in Elsenham

A man was arrested after crashing his van into a tree in Elsenham yesterday (Wednesday, February 19).

Essex Police were called to the scene on Stansted Road just before 7pm.

The driver of the grey Ford Transit sustained minor injuries and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, for treatment.

A 32-year-old man from Dunmow was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and released on police bail, pending further enquiries, until March 29.
