Firefighters were called to rescue a two-year-old child locked in a Saffron Walden home.

The crew from Saffron Walden was sent to Summerhill Road at 12.38pm after the toddler was locked into the house.

Firefighters used a ladder to get in through an upstairs window and help the child, who was placed back in the care of their parents.
