Ollie Emsden, 24, and his gym in Henham, Gym Vision Fitness, have been featured on a Channel 5 show called ‘Get a holiday body: Lose a stone in 4 weeks’.

The show follows Mr Costa and Zoe Birkett on a four-week food and fitness plan, supported by a top personal trainer and nutritionist, and everything they do on the show, the public can follow at home. The pair will cook delicious healthy recipes, find new ways to tone up their bodies and try out new beauty treatments.

The TV producers got in touch with Ollie about using his gym for the show.

He said: “The production company e-mailed me and asked if they could come and look at the gym to see if it would look good on the TV show.

“It’s all about Antony Costa trying to get ‘beach body’ ready, getting ready to support Steps on tour. It’s about how he can get into the best shape.

“So the production company then came down three times to do different shots and brought down a personal trainer from London to do some filming in the gym.”

As part of the show, Mr Costa, who lives in Takeley, came along to the gym for a session with Ollie. Ollie was creative with his workout and made Antony pull a tractor, throw beer barrels over hay, chop wood and hit a tyre with a sledgehammer.

Ollie opened the gym five months ago and he said it had been a stressful year and a half getting ready to open his business, but it worked out in the end and Antony is now a regular at the gym and the whole process has been good for business.

He said: “It’s good for the gym and it’s been good for me on a personal level.”

The show airs on Channel 5 on Thursdays at 8pm.
