16:37 20 January 2014

A section of the M11 motorway will be closed while surface repair works are carried out.

Resurfacing of the southbound M11 between junctions 9a (for A11) and 8 (for Stansted Airport) will take place overnight from 10pm to 5am on Wednesday (January 22) for one night.

While this work takes place the southbound carriageway will be closed at Junction 9a and traffic diverted to follow the A505, A10 and A120 to rejoin the M11 at Junction 8 (Birchanger).
