Man arrested after rush hour crash in Braintree

A MAN has been arrested after a crash on Galleys Corner, Braintree, this morning.
Part of Cressing Road was closed when a lorry and a silver Volkswagen Passat collided just after 6am.
All emergency services were called to the scene. Firefighters freed two people trapped in the car.
An Essex Police spokesman said a 44-year-old lorry driver from Germany was arrested for failing to provide insurance details following the collision.
