It all began with X Factor winner Matt Cardle sending fans into a frenzy last Friday and continued with the amazing spectacle of 108 floats being paraded around Saffron Walden the following day.

A carnival queen has been crowned, dancing queens partied the night away to ABBA’s greatest hits, and a Queen tribute band rocked the marquee on the Common.

All it needs now is for the Queen herself to make an appearance!
