Police hunt for man in connection with an assault in Elsenham

Police are searching for a man in connection with an assault of a woman in Elsenham.

A 28-year-old man is being sought by the police in connection with the incident which happened at around 1.15am this morning (Monday) at a house in Elm Close. A woman, in her 20s, has been taken to Broomfield Hospital, in Chelmsford.

If anyone has any information relating to the incident they should call the police on 101.
