Thieves stole more than £600 worth of spirits from the Tesco store in Saffron Walden.

Three men had entered the store on in Radwinter Road, at 8.50pm on Wednesday, March 26.

They had then placed more than 20 bottles of alcohol into carrier bags inside a shopping trolley before leaving the store without making any attempt to pay.

All three men were white and aged in their 20s or 30s.

One was wearing an olive green jacket, blue jeans and black trainers, a second was wearing a black jacket with white sleeves, dark jeans and white trainers with dark toe caps.

The third was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black trainers with white laces.

Police want to identify the three men who were caught on CCTV at the time of the incident. Anyone who recognises any of the men is asked to call PC Ritch Morris at Saffron Walden Police Station on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
