Great Abington Pre-School received top marks in all areas, while leader Kate McDowell was described in the report as “inspirational”.

Mrs McDowell has worked with children for 25 years and has been leader of the pre-school since 2001.

She said: “I am overjoyed that our setting has received their Outstanding report from Ofsted and thank the staff, committee, parents and the community for sharing in this great result.”
