St Raphael Club for the Physically Disabled

The group held its AGM, which was well attended and all officers and the committee were elected unopposed. The treasurer reminded members that, like many voluntary organisations, annual expenditure is exceeding its income and they have to address this.

The treasurer reminded members that, like many voluntary organisations, annual expenditure is exceeding its income and they have to address this.

Discussion took place for more fund-raising activities. The meeting ended with the sad reading of a letter from Freda Gray, a long-standing founder member and president, who wrote to say she was resigning from the club, due to age. A member said Mrs Gray would be missed very much and a great loss to the St Raphael Club for the Physically Disabled.
