Thousand of pounds of antiques stolen in Saffron Walden burglary

Thousand of pounds of antiques were stolen from a house in an early morning burglary in Saffron Walden.

The items, which include furniture, an oil painting, clocks, silver cutlery and bronzes, were taken during the raid at the property in Common Hill, which took place between 2-8am on Friday (January 31).

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or anybody who may have been offered antique items for sale.
