Warning after cat converter thefts

PEOPLE are being urged to look out for suspicious activity after thieves stole five catalytic converters from a car park.

The offenders targeted Mercedes Sprinter vans outside The Cambridge Pet Crematorium in Thriplow, Royston, between 4pm on Tuesday (June 5) and 2.45am the following day.

They stole the cat converters after breaking into the vehicles.

Sergeant Paul Rogerson said: “I would urge anyone who sees any suspicious activity around commercial premises to call police.”

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
