Walden Tri had a successful day at the St Neots Triathlon as several members came away with trophies.

A squad of 10, including juniors, took part in three available race distances, with Luhan Bely second overall in the Supersprint and first in his age group.

Seven members raced the slightly longer Sprint distance, with Peter Cook second overall and winning his age group after a 16.49 run for the 5k.

Mael Bely was third overall and second in his age group, while other age group winners included Dave Pulford and Howard Williams.

Charlie Stanton-Stock was fourth in his age group and 21st overall, while Emma Duncan was fourth woman home in the standard distance and second in her age group.

“It was a pleasure to race with a large team from Walden. Everyone did a great job and we were especially proud of our juniors,” said club captain Graham Pearce.
