In a tough, cold race of 10km run, 42km bike and a final burst of a further 5km run, Craig Dyce led the field for WaldenTRI coming in 6th in his age group and building on his world qualification position for the sprint event in Althorpe just the week before.

First in for the ladies was Teresa Peasgood with an excellent 10th place in her age group.

Just a day later, 15 triathletes took part in the Cambridge Half Marathon. Matt Switzer and Nicki Davis led the team home with 1hr 24min 23sec and 1hr 31min 11sec respectively. Stephanie Godfrey (winner of the club’s Cross Country award for 2012) put in a sterling performance at 1hr 34mins 14sec.

And finally, Colin Connelly ran in the Lydd British Masters Half Marathon, coming in an amazing 4th place in his 65-70 age group.
