WALDENTRI took time out to celebrate an outstanding 2012 season of success at their awards night on Friday.

WALDENTRI took time out to celebrate an outstanding 2012 season of success at their awards night on Friday.

Held at Myddylton Place in Saffron Walden, the night saw awards shared across the club’s membership, with some for fun and others for extraordinary athletic performances.

Howard Williams scooped the Chairman’s Award for his unwavering support of the club as a founding member. Andy Bryant landed the accolade of Club Champion 2012 having competed and excelled in Olympic, Half Iron and Iron distance events, with unfaltering dedication to his training schedule.

It should be another good year for the club. Some members are in european and world championship events and others will compete at the local event WT13 (a sprint triathlon), which is open to all for entries now.
