The half marathon was billed as a fast flat course, that ran over the popular National Trust Lodes Way out to Burwell and back, starting and finishing at Lode Social Club. However, the torrential rain, strong winds and cold weather made it even more of a task to complete the course.

Matt Switzer was first home for WaldenTRI in an amazing time of 1 hour 25 minutes 19 seconds, finishing 8th overall. David and Teresa Peasgood ran the race together, pacing off of each other and encouraging each other on the tough sections of the route. They came home in a time of 1hr 39mins 3secs, Teresa finishing as 4th lady and winner of her age group.
