Despite a spirited win in the second leg, The Axe went out of the SWF Dart League cup.

They won 12-9 but went out 24-18 overall to Newport Club. The Fleur de Lys will join them on the bench after they failed to overturn the loss from the first leg at The Crown, eventually going out 35-7.

There were 180s for Trevor Bright and Richard Jennings, and a 142 out for Wayne Bloomfield.
