*Quendon Bowling Club’s good run in the Steeple Bumpstead League came to an end with a 10-0 loss to Sudbury, but they recovered to beat both Haverhill and Castle Hedingham D by the same 8-2 scoreline.

In the North West Essex league Quendon lost heavily to Radwinter A 8-0 but shared the points at Thaxted after a 4-4 draw. This week’s games are against Elsenham and Cornard A.
