Football mad Flynn got to meet the entire Arsenal team, including one of the stars of the game – goal scorer and England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Being a member of Arsenal’s junior supporter’s club, the “Junior Gunners”, gave Flynn the once in a lifetime chance of not only walking the team out onto the pitch and meeting his heroes, but also bagging players’ autographs and a brand new Arsenal kit too.

Flynn was clearly delighted to have been selected: “I had a brilliant day, especially meeting one of my favourite players, Oxlade-Chamberlain.”

Oxlade-Chamberlain, pictured with Flynn ahead of the game, said: “It wasn’t so long ago that I was in Flynn’s position, going to games as a young lad, so it was great fun to meet him. I hope he had a great time and will remember the day for a long time to come.”

Sue Campbell, manager of the Junior Gunners said: “We were delighted to offer Flynn the chance to be our mascot for the game with Coventry City. This is one of the many occasions throughout the year where our Junior Gunners get the opportunity to meet their heroes, and it is always a memorable day.”
