Saffron Walden Golf Club hosted a special vintage tea party to celebrate the 90th birthdays of three of their female members.

Greta Collins, Betty Brown and Isabella Willan have all reached the landmark and the club laid on a special treat in acknowledgement of their achievement.

The trio have collectively been members of Saffron Walden Golf Club for 174 years and their contribution to the club’s history and development was recognised at the party.

A total of 80 lady members joined them in true vintage style with bunting, balloons, flowers, birthday cakes and a fabulous high tea.

Lady captain Justine Voss had been planning the special event since last summer and, with the help of four past captains in Eileen Farrow, Rita Craig, Jean Bradley and Di Sammons, was able to deliver a truly memorable day for the birthday girls!
