Saffron Walden ladies continued their determination to reach the finals of the county Jean Wilkinson Trophy by playing some wonderful golf at home against Bourn Golf Club.

The overall result was a win for Saffron Walden, by 11-3.

The team, in order of play, was Elaine Purcell, Kiyoko McLellan, Barbara Nicoll, Paula Munns, Marjory Smith, Sue Funston and Vivienne Dondi. The next round in the league will be against Old Nene on June 5.
