Excellent bowls from Great Chesterford Bowls Club’s Mike and Kay Flack and Anne Leader and Brian Butler led to them winning the Business House League Scotsdales Rose Bowl Trophy at Cambs and County.

The league team remains second in Division Two following a closely fought match at home against promotion rivals Fenstanton. A margin of just one shot resulted in a 5-2 win.

The Cambs & District team lost to Great Shelford in the Gilbert Cup triples competition by an overall margin of nine shots.

In the Business House League, the men’s pairs suffered a heavy 6-0 defeat at home to table toppers Beach B.

In the BH League men’s pairs competition, Graham Legg and Mike Flack have progressed through to the semi-finals following a win against Post Office.
