Saffron Striders produced a sizzling display at the Stort 5 in Hatfield Forest on Sunday.

Fiona Halls and Andrew Mynott finished first in the women’s and men’s races, as June Brennan maintained her incredible season with age-group success.

All three received their prizes from former England goalkeeper Peter Shilton, while Striders also came out on top in the men’s team standings thanks to Mynott, Tom Platts and Martin Green.

Other well-placed Striders on the day included Barry Taylor, Guy Tremayne and John James, who all finished in under 50 minutes.

Saffron Striders meet outside the Lord Butler Fitnes & Leisure Centre every Tuesday at 7.45pm for an 8pm start. All welcome.
