Saffron Walden PSG held another successful girls’ taster day at Catons Lane on Saturday morning.

Youngsters from reception to year four tried football for the first time at the home of Essex Senior League side Saffron Walden Town, alongside established PSG players.

And despite the cold temperatures, the girls all got involved and showed off their skills to PSG coaches Veronica and Andrew, with the session including a warm-up routine, skill and technique drills.

The session ended with small-sided games, which saw plenty of goals scored by the youngsters.

Saffron Walden PSG train regularly on Saturday mornings and are looking for more new players, especially in school year four.

Any youngsters who might be interested in coming along can contact chairman Matt Clare on 07775 944664 or email for further information.
