Saffron Walden PSG under-11 girls took on Histon Hornets in a high-scoring game at the weekend.

The visitors scored after just one minute, but PSG soon settled and clicked into gear.

Working well together, they dominated most of the rest of the first half and drew level with a close-range finish from Emma L before the half-time whistle.

PSG kept pressing in the second half and saw Millie B and Tabby R find the net to put them 3-1 up.

As the game progressed, both teams had more chances to add to the scoreline, but PSG found the Hornets keeper in excellent form and had to settle for just one more goal as Millie B grabbed her second.

Training sessions for girls aged five to nine take place on Saturdays (9-10am) at Walden Ladies Ground at Crabtrees.
