In a hard fought contest Philippa Francis and Ian Smith beat Valerie Mitchell and Nigel Appleby over three sets.

Francis and Smith took the first set 6-4, and Mitchell and Appleby fought back to win a tie break in the second.

But Francis and Smith stepped up and took the final set 6-0. They were presented with the cup by the chairman.
