SAFFRON Seals swimmers put in some good performance in the final leg of Division 4 Essex Swim League fixtures at Basildon Sporting Village on Saturday.
The Saffron Walden swimmers were in equal second place after 24 events, despite once again being short of 15-year-old swimmers, forcing many to swim in events out of their age group.
Basildon & Phoenix ended out in front with 192 points and were promoted to Division 3 for next season. Harwich finished on 172 points, Chelmsford on 165 and Seals on 149.
