Saffron Walden Golf Club’s Autumn Foursomes was won by captain Justine Voss and Marjory Smith.

Played over 27 holes, they scored consistently well to finish with 54 points which left them six clear of the field.

Smith showed fine putting form, holinng from off the fourth green and also sinking a long putt to par the 17th for a further three points.

Voss was nearest to the pin onn the fifth to advance their cause further as Caroline Peat and Angela Tucker finished runners-up with 48 points.

Annie Clarke and Yvonne Jardine finished in third place on countback with 46 points.
