THE New York underworld of the 1930s is coming to Linton this month in a spectacular musical production.
Tickets have gone on sale for Linton Village College’s interpretation of the popular musical Guys and Dolls.
Students are busy rehearsing for an all-singing, all-dancing production of the Broadway musical, with its cast of colourful characters including gangsters, gamblers and Salvation Army officers.
Laura Cassidy, head of Drama and director of the show, said: “Guys and Dolls is LVC’s most ambitious musical yet and with our reputation for high quality arts projects I can promise you a highly entertaining evening.”
The lead roles are being played by drama students, with Tom Quarrell as Nathan Detroit, Alice Murray and Clea Godsill as Sarah Brown, Hal Woodhouse as Sky Masterson, and Tamzin Kerslake and Annabelle Green as Miss Adelaide.
Guys and Dolls will be performed on March 22 and 23 in the main hall at LVC and the show begins at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for concessions.
