TWO musicians are to hold a second performance of their funny - but very rude - new show in response to overwhelming demand for tickets.
Joanna Eden and Leigh McDonald are returning to the Saffron Hotel on Saturday March 9 with The Unbearable Pleasure of Being a Woman which enjoyed its world premiere earlier this month with profits to Home-Start Uttlesford. This time profits are going to Comic Relief.
After writing music for a fringe play last year the duo realised their talents extend further than just performing and admit to having the writing bug.
Every comical thought or situation is now just fodder for our repertoire... and we welcome ideas too! said Eden.
The duo will be combining their own compositions with musical theatre and jazz repertoire and have asked us to point out that the show is not suitable for children or those of a delicate disposition.
They are mortified that their parents will be there ... again! They were severely reprimanded for their more saucy songs last time but strangely their parents are coming back for more!
Doors open at 8pm for an 8.30pm start and tickets are priced at 10. They can be reserved by calling the Saffron Hotel on 01799 522676 or by e-mailing reservations@saffronhotel.co.uk. Reductions on the new pie menu are available for those whod like to eat too.
