INDIE rockers The 1975 – a band that have steadily garnered national recognition thanks to ongoing championing by Radio 1 – are bringing their fresh and unique sound to Cambridge.
The Manchester four-piece will be showcasing hits Sex, Chocolate, The City and many more in the Portland Arms on Monday February 4.
With latest EP Music For Cars due for release in March and a full-length album on the horizon, the band is busy touring the length and breadth of the country.
Cambridge will be the latest stop for a quartet – Matthew Healy, Ross MacDonald, Adam Hann and George Daniel – that is definitely one to watch in 2013.
Drawing comparisons from bands like M83 and Foals, audiences have raved about the energy and intensity of The 1975’s live shows.
