The show Hairy Maclary and Friends, based on the books by the New Zealand author, Dame Lynley Dodd about a dog and his friends, will be at Haverhill Arts Centre on August 25 presented by Nonsense Room Products.

With live music, singing, colourful costumes and six of the Hairy Maclary stories, the show made its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010 with a sold out run of 25 shows, with extra dates added due to popular demand.

Since then, it’s toured the world. In 2011, Hairy Maclary and Friends was invited to the Sydney Opera House for a five-week summer residency, extended to seven, with 69 shows and 21,000 people catching the show.

Sing along and do the actions with all the characters. It’s A family treat they say you would be barking mad to miss.

Shows at 1.30pm and 4pm. Tickets, £8.50, £7.50, family £30 from 01440 714140 or www.haverhillartscentre.co.uk
