The musical, The Wedding Singer is at Cambridge Corn Exchange from March 28 to April 1 starring Jon Robyns, Ray Quinn, Cassie Compton, Roxanne Pallet and Ruth Madoc.
It’s 1985, hair is huge, shoulders are wide, greed is good and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favourite wedding singer. When his own fiancée dumps him at the altar there’s a danger that Robbie will make every wedding as disastrous as his own.
West End star Jon Robyns (Legally Blonde, Les Miserables, Spamalot Memphis and Avenue Q) plays Robbie Hart. The show also stars singer-songwriter Ray Quinn runner-up in The X Factor in 2006 and champion of Dancing on Ice in 2009. His West End theatre credits include Danny Zuko in Grease and Dirty Dancing.
Also starring West End leading lady and X Factor finalist Cassie Compton and Roxanne Pallett, known for her long-standing role as Jo in ITV’s Emmerdale. She has also appeared in Waterloo Road and Casualty.
