Three sisters are in the cast for Treasure Island, this year’s pantomime from Hempstead Dramatic Society. Sisters Bella, 13, Amelie, 11 and Harriette Hailes, eight are playing the roles of Alice (Squire Trelawney’s daughter), Ella the pirate and a villager.

The show is at Hempstead Village Hall on Friday, February 5 and Saturday February 6 at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2pm. Tickets: £7.50 and £5 concessions from 01440 731894 or email or from Saffron Walden Tourist Information Office in Saffron Walden the Market Square.
