Visitors had the chance to experience a range of historic crafts at Saffron Walden Museum's Heritage Craft Day.
Skilled specialists were on hand at the museum and castle grounds on Thursday, August 24, demonstrating and teaching short tasters of crafts including willow weaving, pargetting, spoon carving, spinning and loom weaving.
The Saffron Walden Community Shed brought along a traditional pole lathe to demonstrate, and gave families the chance to make their own bug hotels.
