The arrogance of the inspector at the pre-enquiry hearing into the second runway beggars belief.

An issue as important as the potential imposition of a huge expansion affecting the lives of thousands of people, and the inspector has "other things to do with his life than write a report"!

Well so does everybody else, but they still devote their time - unpaid.

He may have Government breathing down his neck wanting a speedy conclusion to the enquiry. Tough.

Inspectors with the right attitude need to be employed, who will listen to the public and stand up to Government. Who appoints the Inspectors?
