A NUMBER of people worked very hard to make Ugley Charity Fair, held on Thursday September 25 at the Ugley village hall, such a success.
An outstanding £1051.29 was raised for the work of Support 4 Sight, a charity that supports local people and their families with visual impairment.
I would particularly like to thank Carmen and Peter Heap who organised the fair with the help of Nikki Alan and Jane Nellis-Pain.
I must also thank the Support 4 Sight volunteers who provided refreshments throughout the day and made cakes to sell.
Christine Marshall, services development officer at Support 4 Sight
