I WOULD like to make a clarification regarding the article in The Reporter on the Sustainable Homes Show, held in Saffron Walden Town Hall on September 16
'Thousands get ideas for eco-homes'.
The article stated the event was organised and run by Uttlesford District Council, which is incorrect. It was in fact the Sustainable Homes Network, a community group with the aim of promoting better, greener homes.
The support of UDC and Saffron Walden Town Council made the event possible, and we are very grateful for it, but even more fundamental to its success was a group of enthusiastic local people.
