IT WAS a great pity the public and press did not choose to attend the the budget meeting at Uttlesford District Council last Thursday.
An evening of LibDem farce, sleight of hand and fairy stories greeted the astonished Conservative and Independent councillors.
I look forward with great interest to the comments from the Audit Commission at the next audit.
They have already stated that UDC have no understanding of financial management, now that was the understatement of the year. The term 'Trading Insolvently soon' springs to mind.
