ON ONE occasion at the municipal refuse yard in Thaxted Road I was told that despite repeated requests the employees have not been issued with adequate protective clothing.
In view of what they have to handle should not the relevant authorities ensure that they do?
I am sure they deserve to be treated as fairly as everyone else. Without places like Thaxted Road, I suppose we might have more fly-tipping? And don't forget items have now to be recycled and these are sometimes dangerous.
