WE?STRONGLY support the continuation of the Tourist Information Centre, which provides a valuable service to the town and its visitors.
It would be disgraceful if it were to close as a result of financial mismanagement by the district council.
If it is to be run by the town council, at least part of the resources needed could be found by not spending money on the quite unnecessary proposed changes to the Market Square parking arrangements which seem perfectly satisfactory as
they are.
The changes proposed would be unhelpful to residents and to shops and banks, and one wonders why such a foolish scheme was thought of in the first place.
