DESPITE torrential rain the fireworks display on the Common went ahead. It was well organised and managed by our Round Table; they are a credit to the town.
All of the members of the round table give up substantial chunks of their time on a voluntary basis for the good and the betterment of this town and I would like to place on record how much this is appreciated.
