I WOULD like to say a big thank you to everyone who stopped to help my daughter who ran in front of a car outside Woolworths in Saffron Walden on Saturday morning, especially the ladies who sat with her on the floor, Sam from Woolworths, the off-duty paramedic who stopped and the wonderful man in Bubbles bathroom shop who covered Kathy in towels and bathrobes and was very comforting and caring to us both.
I would also like to apologise to the lady whose car Kathy ran in front of. It must have been a terrible fright for you and you must have felt terrible even though it was absolutely not your fault and there was nothing you could have done.
She is so sorry. Kathy has escaped with a broken collar bone, shoulder and elbow and a big fat black eye. Apart from other bumps and bruises she is absolutely fine.
