I WRITE in response to the front page story in last week's Reporter.
As a former employee of Willis & Gambier and former Saffron Walden resident I would like to say that a lot of employees relocated to Peterborough on the strength of loyalty bonuses that were promised by the company.
These bonuses were due to be paid in May next year and were going to be 20 per cent of the annual wage. These bonuses are now worthless and people like me are stuck in Peterborough with no job, no redundancy and struggling to pay mortgages.
