The Post Office is a lifeline to many young and old, but they are spending millions on television advertising for broadband instead of letting people know they are a bank.
You can do all the same things that you would do at any bank, but without having to use a car.
By keeping the Post Office open there is less need to use the car and pay car park charges, or wait for a bus in the rain. You can get the family allowance pension, pay bills, savings, direct debit and standing orders, just as you can at any bank. You can also pay your TV licence and car tax and renew your passport.
I bank with the Post Office through Alliance and Leicester. The Post Office is a bank and people should use it as both, and that is how it should be advertised.
