WE CANNOT let the issue of the LibDem's financial management go by without some comment.
Their headline Your council tax is safe with LibDems. How can they possibly say this when over the last four years they have whittled capital reserves down to nothing and the earmarked reserves are about the same.
The Tories very prudently put the council in a position of being debt free. The LibDems are now proposing to go in the red.
We want to ask the public two questions. Firstly, do you think council services have improved and do you think your council tax is safe with the LibDems?
