WE KNOW know that our economic security is under threat at present. The surge in food prices means hunger for the poorest in Africa, Asia and Central America.
Caroline Hurford, head of the UK office of the World Food Programme will speak at the Friends' Meeting House on the High Street, Saffron Walden, at 12.45pm on Wednesday October 1.
All are welcome and there will be a buffet lunch beforehand which can be ordered by telephoning 01799 523010.
