This year we have raised the magnificent sum of £17,199.80 for the Poppy Appeal. I would like to thank our wonderful band of volunteers, without whom this wonderful feat would not have been possible.
May I also say that once again the Boys' Brigade did the town, Royal British Legion and themselves proud, their musical prowess is second to none.
Also, thank you to all the youth organisations who took part in the parade.
Finally thank you to the local police and council for their help before, during and after the events on November 11 and 12.
