May I through your paper thank all those who joined in the commemorations, march and church service on Remembrance Sunday.
I must also thank 33 Engineer Regiment for their presence on the parade; this was greatly appreciated by all members of the local Royal British Legion. We were also honoured to have several Gurkha veterans who marched with us.
Lastly, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the people of Saffron Walden for their spontaneous applause during both marches.
